Located in the south central region of England this region is probably best known for it's the world class university in it's principal town of Oxford and for the Uffington White Horse which is a 360 ft wide carving of a horse into the chalk of White Horse Hill.
Farming is still the mainstay of the economy and ranged from sheep and dairy farming to fruit growing. Some light industry exisits around the major towns and tourism is a growing concern, both for the beauty of the countryside and the grandeur of Oxford itself.
