Herefordshire is located just south of the West Midlands - it is sandwiched between the County of Worcestershire to its east with its western border nestling along the breathtaking Brecon Beacons in Wales.
The area is chiefly concerned with agriculture, in particular fruit farming together with associated industries such as cider pressing and jam making.
Newer light industries have also sprung up around the larger towns such as Hereford which also has a large military base nearby.
