Berkshire is located in the South of England, west of London, along what is often known as the Thames Valley.
The Royal family often reside at Windsor Castle which is also a popular tourist attraction.
Excellent transport links with London and it's close proximity to the capital have encouraged many industries to relocate to towns such as Slough and Bracknell in search of cheaper operating costs and an improved standard of living. Agriculture is still present but predominantly to the west of the county.
